Copilot licence activity check
Review a CSV you export yourself to find disabled accounts or Copilot-licensed users with no supplied activity in your chosen window. Sign-in is only a proxy for licence use, not proof of Copilot usage.
Browser-only: the selected CSV is read locally and is not uploaded, sent or stored by this tool. Use a minimal export; remove columns you do not need. The tool does not connect to Microsoft 365 or identify people to contact.
How it works
Export only the user identity, assigned Copilot product, account-enabled state, last activity if available and monthly price if you have a verified quote. The tool applies your selected inactivity window to supplied activity dates. If the export has only sign-in, it labels that as a sign-in proxy. Disabled accounts and users without a date are shown separately. Estimated annual list-price exposure is a review aid, not a confirmed saving or recommendation to remove a licence.
CSV columns
Required: UserPrincipalName (or Email/DisplayName) and CopilotLicensed (true/false) or LicenseName/AssignedLicenses. Optional: AccountEnabled, LastActivityDate, LastSignInDateTime, MonthlyPrice. Use one row per user and one monthly price basis per file.
Frequently asked questions
Does no recent sign-in mean the licence is wasted? No. It is only a review signal; this page cannot see Copilot activity or business context.
Does it connect to a tenant? No. It reads only the CSV you select in this browser.
Are the prices current contract prices? No. They are Microsoft list prices checked 1 November 2026, or a quote you enter. Discounts, agreements and taxes can change what you pay.
Are these confirmed savings? No. Multiply candidate licences by the monthly price and twelve to estimate annual exposure; confirm assignment and need with your licensing owner.
